2012 Dinner Auction
Our 2012 Dinner Auction featured a new theme and approach to our annual event at the Four Points by Sheraton in Fairview Heights. Titled "Around the World in Seven Plates," attendees were able to sample food and desserts from around the world while partaking in activities such as live casino gaming, a wine-tasting bistro, a custom-built cave to look for jewels (including a 1/2 carat diamond), and merchandise featuring home decor, sports memorabilia, culinary items, and luxury items. Andy Banker, from Fox 2, returned as the emcee. KSF thanks the Four Points, our loyal sponsors, donors, and the attendees for making this a wonderful event.
What People Said About 2012 Dinner Auction
"I found the evening wonderful. There was excitement in the room! I loved the reports from the family."
"I thought the night was one to remember!"
"What a great evening out to support a great cause. This was the 1st time we attended. My mother has suffered mental illness for years and I never talk about it to anyone, but that night I was able to open up about it to a fellow attendee and I did not feel alone. In fact, I enjoyed myself more that night than I have in a long time. Thank you for including us - we will be back!"
"The food was wonderful. I really liked that you could come in and eat. This gave more time to spend going over the silent auction items. And I also likes the variety of food."
"A great night for a great cause! Food was out of this world!"

"Congratulations on the great success of the dinner auction Saturday. It was one of the most professionally managed and organized activities I have ever taken part in. The Smiths do a great job of showing how a family can mesh as a team to achieve something lasting and important."
"All at our table had an absolutely wonderful time. The addition of the Glenn Close BringChange2Mind PSA and the family speaking about the effect counseling had on them was truly powerful."
"What a great gala! It was truly magnificent. I had a wonderful time... and as I looked around, it seemed everyone did. It was a classy evening."
"You have accomplished something after your 3rd dinner auction that many seasoned organizations struggle to accomplish over several years. Congratulations."
