 Pat and Carolyn Dellamano, parents of Nick, started attending the bi-monthly KSF Suicide Survivor support group meetings soon after their son's death in September 2008. A few months later, they decided to have a golf tournament in Nick's memory on the weekend of his 26th birthday. They would donate all the proceeds from the event to KSF.
After months of planning by the Dellamano family, August 1 was an incredible success with more 150 golfers, nearly 100 silent auction items and prizes, and a post-golf dinner. It was a day filled with wonderful spirit, friendship, support which raised more than $8,000 for KSF to help other families who have lost loved ones to suicide.
